KIM HOULE
BIO
Just having relocated here from
Trenton, Ontario, it is with great
excitement that I join the PCU
Centre to help members meet their
health and fitness goals! I am
energetic and enthusiastic about
watching, coaching, counseling, and
participating in sports.
With my background being in Physical
and Health Education, I am
passionate about healthy lifestyles
and helping others reach their
personal goals and their potential
in fitness and overall health. I
studied the physiological elements
and psychological elements of
physical activity and can conduct
fitness testing for you!Basic Theory
and Individual Conditioning courses
taken through the YMCA provide me
with the knowledge to create
effective workout programs for a
variety of populations with
different goals and needs.
My experience in teaching in the
school system brings my passion for
teaching others. I bring
organization, communication,
creativity, and individualization
into each member’s program to meet
specific needs. Many of my years
teaching took place in the gymnasium
teaching Physical and Health
Education to students from
Kindergarten to Grade 6. I hope to
implement some youth programming
here at the PCU Centre when I get
more settled into the community.

MELISSA
ELGERT
BIO
I have always had a passion for
health and fitness. As a certified
personal trainer, I find it
rewarding helping others attain
their fitness goals. I place a great
emphasis on living a healthy
lifestyle; the importance of
nutrition, staying active and making
time for the gym is something I am
eager to instil in others.
In addition to personal training, I
am also a Level 1 figure skating
instructor (and former skating
competitor). My extensive background
working with athletes, and as an
athlete myself, has taught me the
importance of commitment, hard work,
and patience to obtain positive
change.
I welcome the opportunity to meet
new clients with any type of fitness
goals.
I strive to create variety and
excitement in workouts, with the
hope of making your fitness
experience more enjoyable!
I look forward to meeting you in the
near future and hope to assist you
in your motivation to achieve
